We have had a whirlwind of a week at the Gabriel House! Sadly...there are very few pictures that we can offer to share with you from Christmas 2007. Jerome's Dad, suffered a minor heart attack on Sunday, December the 23rd which turned our Christmas plans upside down. We don't really believe in coincidences and praise God for how His glory has been revealed through our lives in the past week. Dad Gabriel's minor heart attack resulted in further tests revealing that he was very lucky to only have had a minor attack....PRAISE GOD!!!! Jerome's sister Amanda was already scheduled to fly in on the 24th and was able to spend this stressful time with the rest of the family! PRAISE GOD!!!! We were able to have our Gabriel Family Christmas together in the ICU at Blanchard Valley Hospital, reminding us of how much we have to be thankful for this Christmas Season. PRAISE GOD!!!!! Dad's surgeon is one of the top cadio. surgeons in in the us! PRAISE GOD!!!!!! Dad had open heart triple bipass surgery on Wednesday morning. It went very smoothly with no complications! PRAISE GOD!!!!!! Dad Gabriel is doing well and is scheduled to continue his recovery at home next week. PRAISE GOD!!!!! We have been blessed by the support of our families, friends, and church bodies over the past week. Thank you for all of your continued prayer and support!
Micah was able to open a few presents...however he was really not very impressed with gifts until they came out of the packages....I will post the few pics we do have when i get a chance
