Blessing #1: God protected Jim and Barb from any harm. They were sleeping in their bedroom and were unaware of the tornado warning until the window in their bedroom exploded. Their bed is directly next to the window and thankfully the wind sucked all of the glass outside (along with many other things).
Blessing #2: As many of you know Jerome and I lived with his parents until a few weeks ago. Had Micah still been sleeping in his old room, he would have most likely been severely injured because the windows in his room exploded and the glass sucked to the corner where his crib was.
Blessing #3: Family and friends have been a huge support during the clean up effort. If it were not for their hard work and graciousness we would still be sitting on the roof of the house attempting to waterproof.
Blessing #4: The garage was a complete loss but insurance will bear most of the load!
Blessing#5: God is good all the time......
