Working With Daddy and a Fashion Warning!

Remodeling the basement seems to be a never ending project.... Micah and Daddy made a little progress on Saturday! After about 10 minutes of "helping" Jerome, Micah came upstairs and insisted  he needed his "big boy tools and safety hat."  Apparently he was tired of sharing with Daddy.

Micah has decided he does not need help picking out his clothes anymore. Jerome and I work hard to encourage Micah's creativity! There are so many times when it's not appropriate for Micah to claim the independence he desires, I figure we can let him make his own wardrobe choices.  If you see us shopping at Meijer and Micah is wearing his favorite teal-ish colored truck shirt over a hideously mismatched striped red and black long sleeved shirt, with brown dress pants, his carpenter belt, snow boots and his soccer ball stocking cap, remember sometimes he makes his own choices.  I'm hoping to get some pictures up of some of the more exciting outfit choices sometime soon!
