We kicked off the holiday season by decorating the house for Christmas...this was a year of first including our family's first real Christmas tree! It was such a fun afternoon. We made it our goal for the holidays to focus on the worshiping our Savior as a family We did this in so many different ways, but the most effective was taking time each evening to talk about a small portion of the story of Jesus' birth. Jerome and I feel exceptionally blessed through our small little family and are dedicated to teach our children about what the true enchantment of Christmas is. We have discovered over the holidays that we really want to help our children develop a sense of gratitude versus entitlement....a difficult task and an important life lesson!
