The kids and I are really enjoying Hero Training Camp. I get asked several times a morning if it's time to start. The beginning of our lesson time usually gets started with excited cheers!
This week's topic was "A Hero Revealed" God prepared David to face Goliath by fighting a bear and a lion. David was faithful in smaller things before God used him in the big things. We focused on the concept that that problems, interruptions and challenges are our mission.
The Bible verse for the week was "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance." James 1:2-3
We did so many things this week, there's just not room for all the photos, so I choose the children's favorite two activities, slingshots and the five little stones snack.
