Christmas Day

Daddy's climbing shoes.  Micah and Nathaniel got Daddy a much needed new pair of aggressive climbing shoes.  Jerome did a great job of acting surprised!  Shhhh...don't tell the boys that Daddy was the one who picked them out.  :)

Rockets fueled by the baking soda vinegar reaction.  We played with these for quite awhile on Christmas day because it was a BEAUTIFUL and not too chilly day.  We made sure to get some good play time in, because today we are facing potential blizzard conditions. (More to post about that later, assuming we do actually have a blizzard.)  Like I said in an earlier post, our boys love all things science.

Micah and Nathaniel LOVE bloco toys.  Basically they consist of hundreds of foam and plastic parts that the boys can use to create many different types of  animals.   Of course, yesterday they insisted on having the animals on the box...three hours later we had them put together.  :)  I know you are just dying to know, so I might as well tell you how the animals get along.  The dinosaurs and dragons are not friends.  Apparently the dragons need a support group because they cannot control themselves from shooting fire everywhere and burning our couch, Christmas tree, and the dinosaurs home.  Don't be too concerned apparently the dinosaurs have magical powers that allow them to create bubble force fields that save their families.  Considering all the cool things these hunks of foam can do, I'd say this toy was well worth the investment.

I think the following picture is one of my favorites from the day!   Christmas Spy Kids! I'd like to introduce you to Secret Agent Mustache and Secret Agent Mustache Jr. They provided us with a high level of safety and stopped several "threats" from ending Christmas. Glad to have these two assets in my corner.
