Christmas Eve - A flurry of fun!

Decorating Christmas cookies is something the boys LOVE.   This year is our second allergen friendly Christmas.  I tried several new cookie recipes and they seemed to be a hit!

A few days ago I asked the boys what they would like for breakfast on Christmas, Micah yelled DOUGHNUTS!!!! Well in our house that means we make them!  This was our first round of Nathaniel Safe doughnuts and they were a hit!  The boys had so much fun making them, that I think we have just created a new family holiday tradition.  They were pretty tasty!

Our Church had their first Christmas Eve service in Turning Point history.  It was almost completely put on by the kids!  Micah was apart of a group that performed Silent Night in Sign Language.  I am hoping to get a digital copy of the recording to post a little later.  He did a great job!   When we got home we opened the presents that Grandpa and Grandma Scott sent.  We have not yet opened the learn to play chess set that Micah got, but we have completed several of the experiments from the Pop Bottle Science Kit.  The boys just LOVE  science.   They also play with the create your own tracks play set a lot.  They particularly like that they can race the cars to see which one crashes first! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for being so thoughtful!
